Being the mother of three children, I've tried many types of cloth diapers and decided the only way to get the kind of quality diaper I wanted was to make them myself. Our two and four ply prefold diapers are made from lusciously soft and absorbent Organic Unbleached Bird’s Eye cotton. These can be used with just about any diaper cover or wrap. (My personal favorites are the felted lambswool styles.) The two-ply diaper is absorbent enough to be folded in half and used with most newborn and small babies or doubled with older babies.The 2 ply is the best choice for one who plans to predominantly line-dry as they dry very fast . The four ply are extra thick and absorbent and can be used from newborn to toddler(I am still using the 4 ply exclusively at night with my 16 month babe). For nighttime or heavy wetters, a doubler or a folded two-ply may be necessary. Each child varies.
